John Frater
Clinical Researcher in Infectious Diseases
I studied as a medical student in Cambridge and did my PhD in London at Imperial. I am now a Consultant Physician in Oxford looking after people living with HIV and I run a research group at the University where we explore the question of how to cure HIV infection. My work is part of a wider collaboration (called CHERUB) which brings together doctors, researchers and patients to explore the future of HIV care and how we might one day find a cure.
