Paula Sheppard

Evolutionary Anthropologist

I am interested in families. My work is fairly interdisciplinary, meeting somewhere between biological anthropology, demography, and health. From an evolutionary point of view, it is interesting to try and understand how people make decisions about having children and how these decisions play out in reality. I also teach Evolutionary Medicine and have a seminar series on this, with talks available to watch on my YouTube channel (@oxfordevolutionarymedicine).
