Demography: Understanding Our World

What is demography, and how can it provide us with a better understanding of our world and the people who live within it? In this micro-documentary, we hear from Dr José Manuel Aburto, Prof Ridhi Kashyap and Prof Jennifer Dowd – researchers at Oxford’s Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science – as they use new types of data, methods and unconventional approaches to improve our understanding of human populations.
